The Farnborough International Airshow 2008 saw the launch of a brand new Royal Aeronautical Society website: aerosocietyjobs.com is an internet based resource, dedicated to bringing together aerospace and aviation job opportunities from across the industry. MISSION VIRGIN GALACTIC GOES LIVE!

On 29 April 2008, Virgin Galactic, the Royal Aeronautical Society and the Royal Air Force announced the launch of a new competition for schools. Mission Virgin Galactic is for Key Stage 3 students or equivalent, asking you to design an innovative and marketable product for space, testing your entrepreneurial and engineering ingenuity.
