BALLANTYNE 2010: FLYING OUT OF A RECESSION
This years Ballantyne will take place on Friday the 26th of March with the theme of starting and progressing a career during a time of financial downturn. The event is free and open to 14-18 yr olds and will take place at our London HQ at Hamilton Place, Hyde Park Corner. Lunch is provided at the event.

10TH ANNUAL AIRCRAFT DESIGN AND HANDLING COMPETITION

Merlin Flight Simulator Group brings their fantastic flight simulator based competition to Coventry University for what promises to be a closely contended challenge. Test pilot Dave Southward and new judge Dave Mackay, Virgin Galactic pilot, join commentator and ex-Harrier test pilot John Farley in judging aero engineering students' entries. CAREERS CENTRE RELOCATION
As of the 3rd of August 2009 the Royal Aeronautical Society's Careers Centre has been relocated to the National Aerospace Library in Farnborough, Hampshire. The Careers Centre is no longer based in the Society's main Hamilton Place offices on Hyde Park Corner. Careers appointments will be unavailable during the month of August in order to facilitate the moving process.
